Mr. Martin Clemesha graduated in materials science and engineering at the Polytechnic School of São Paulo University in 2001 and has a post-graduation degree in Packaging Engineering. Along the past 21 years in the polymer industry, he has provided technical support to customers in several segments in Brazil, South America and Europe. As a market development engineer, he worked on projects involving the replacement of traditional materials in the paint and medical packaging industries. He moved to Europe in 2014 to help Braskem promote it’s I’m greenTM biobased plastics first as technical sales and then as a product manager. As of 2023 he has been fully dedicated to technical advocacy, a branch of external affairs dedicated to exchanging with relevant stakeholders (including policy makers, think tanks and trade associations), Braskem’s views on complex topics such as responsible sourcing, life cycle thinking and circular economy.
